What is a kindle?

The Kindle was created by Amazon and is an electronic device created specifically and solely for the purpose of digital reading of the famous e-books. It is a way to read without being distracted by social media and other applications.

It is portable and allows its user to have an entire gigantic library in a small device. The possibilities range from books to comics, newspapers, documents and other formats that you like.

But the most surprising part is certainly its technology, the Kindle screen has electronic ink, called e-ink, which simulates the appearance of a printed page, giving an impression more similar to a paper book.

In addition, each Kindle device is extremely lightweight and super compact, you won't even notice that you're carrying it. Another very positive point about the device is its battery that can last for days and even weeks.

As well as an integrated dictionary, the possibility of marking sentences like a highlighter and the translator.

How can I download books?

Kindle books can be purchased from the website Amazon, buying directly there the book already appears in your library, and a big advantage is that e-books usually tend to be cheaper.

If you have an Amazon Prime account you have access to a wide variety of free books, but if you want access to the entire Amazon library, you can subscribe to Kindle Unlimited with thousands of options.

But of course you can also transfer files to your Kindle, such as magazines, college documents and others that you might want to consult or have close by.

Types of kindle
